My cherished LX5090 Kuro developed the dreaded Blue Blink Fault. I ordered the DIY Blue Blink Repair Kit from Kuro King. The two replacement circuit boards arrived promptly along with an easy to follow guide on how to install the boards. Most of the time doing the repair is spent removing the screws holding the back cover. Swapping the circuit boards is slightly fiddly but any competent DIY’er can do it. Very satisfying to have fixed my Kuro myself! Here’s to several more years of ownership!
I have had my Kuro LX5090 since new, purchased in 2009. Developed the blue light blink issue several months back. Managed to pick up another 5090 which is currently in use but there is something about having your original…. Was advised to reach out to Van at Kuroking and purchased the fix kit.
Will get this fitted soon and have my original TV good as new again.

I used this kit for my Kuro LX5090 (8 blue blink issue) and it worked perfectly.
The repair was straightforward and everything matched as described.
What really makes the difference is the support: Van was available via email and WhatsApp in case of doubts, which gave me a lot of confidence during the repair.
After replacing the boards, the TV powered on immediately and the blue blink issue is completely gone.
It’s amazing to see a legendary TV like the Kuro working again. Totally worth it!
The repair boards came quickly for the 9 blue blink issue. At first I must admit doing this repair was daunting. I have experience of building desktop PC,so was not totally clueless, but still working on a TV was something new, and scary. But after speaking to Van,who is a really nice guy, put my fears to bed. And in the end it was relatively straight forward,I took my time & pictures,as there are lots of screws. At the end it is great to have fixed it myself, to give it some more years of life.
After Van's expertise and patience, I was able to get my Kuro screen back, which now works as before.
