What is this "pre/colour calibration" of which you speak? 😅

Jon here, in Barcelona. I've been a plasma fan since the mid-2000s and won't have any other TV tech in my house. 😉 I've owned various Pioneer and Panasonic plasmas, but my current set is the best of the lot: the KRP-500. The whole family uses it - for games old and new, Apple TV, Blu-Ray, everything.

I have these side speakers and original Pioneer cables too, but to my eyes (and ears) the cables are simply generic low-grade speaker wire. The good thing about them is that they're thin (good for cable management, anyway) and have soldered tips, making them easy to insert into the speaker connectors. BUT I imagine there could be some minor audible gains to be made from using higher-quality speaker cable. Actually, maybe I'll give that a try now and report back...
