KURO KING IS A TRUE EXPERT

A few weeks ago I got my KRP-600M Main System board repaired in America by a top technician with 100% feedback and almost 9000 TV assembly boards repaired. However, when I received the board back my KRP-600M wouldn't fully power on. It was stuck on Standby. I sent it back to the repair shop but it was found to be fully working. For whatever reason, the experienced technician couldn't advise me on what I should do next?

 

So, when I fitted it back in my Kuro for a second time, it was still stuck on Standby. I almost lost my mind. I am a very meticulous person and I followed all the fitting instructions to the letter. I was at a loss :(

 

My last shot was to search the Internet and see if anyone out there, by chance, knew anything about this...Just like a bright star in the sky, I found the KuroKing website. After explaining my situation to Van, and a few emails back and forth, he suggested that I send a close-up, high resolution picture of the Main System board in situ, so that he could inspect it...

 

He responded really quickly and said he detected a bit of damage to the outer edge of one of the silver ribbon cables that connect from the Main System board to the Digital Assembly board, where the Main System IC (CPU) is located. He noted that inside the silver ribbon, the wire strands on the outer edges are reserved for the data power. This would severely interrupt the Start-Up process and render the Kuro in Standby. Van advised that I change that ribbon cable. I purchased a new ribbon cable and voila, my cherished KRP-600M Kuro was back up and running again... Amen!

Kuro king helped me every step of the way via WhatsApp with the blue blink repair kit. At one stage I thought I had written off my beloved Kuro because I got 13 blue blinks, but Van calmly showed me what to do and my TV was fixed. I couldn't of done it without him. An absolute God send!

PIONEER KURO 60 INCH LX608D

I never knew anyone was still supporting the Kuro until I stumbled across a listing on the Kuro Store for a 60 inch LX608D Kuro. I always wanted one of these, so I purchased it straight away (that was back in October 2023). For the last 6 months I have been busy constructing my entertainment room to accommodate it (almost finished). The wooden panels in the picture, either side of the TV, are shutters that will have mirrors covering the side that faces the room when closed. So, the room will have a totally different feel when the doors are closed and the TV is not visible. Kuroking's support has been excellent throughout. Thank you very much

I bought my KRP-600M brand new in Hong Kong for over 10,000 and brought it with me when I moved to the UK a few years ago. Before I left I researched for someone that could service it in the UK in case something went wrong. Fortunately, I found Kuroking.com... Just before new years day it developed a power on issue (no standby light), and true to form Kuroking understood the fault and successfully repaired it. Happy new year!
