This is a programmed Pioneer Kuro Master Remote control that enables engineers and technicians access to the hidden Kuro Installer menu that cannot be accessed with the standard Kuro remote Control
 
Some Benefits and Uses:
It allows you to monitor the temperature
check the amount of optimum brightness half-life hours used
remove grey border in 4:3 aspect ratio
check for errors (i.e blue blink) registered in the system log
tweak voltages for 'deeper blacks' or to remove red tint, green and/or magenta sparkles (use at your own risk)
adjust ABL settings to improve brightness and 'pop'. (use at your own risk)
...plus a great many more things.
 
Note: We do not recommend resetting the Kuro unless you are an expert at tweaking the voltage settings. Although many have achieved deeper blacks, green and/or magenta artifacts have been known to appear on black or white based backgrounds. You do so at your own risk!
 
CAUTION: You must be certain of what you are doing as certain changes to the Kuro inner settings may cause serious damage and render the Kuro inoperable!!!
